How do I take care of my map?

There is not much maintenance required. Use a feather duster or cloth to remove dust.

What should I consider before hanging my map?

Wood is organic matter and tends to respond to its environment. We recommend hanging your map somewhere that has a controlled climate and where the temperature doesn’t fluctuate too much. For instance, don’t hang it above a heating vent or by a radiator.

How do I hang my map?

You’ll need to use the hardware we provided and you’ll probably want two people working on this together. The maps weigh around 24 pounds so they need special hardware to make sure it is secure. We recommend using a level and marking with a pencil where you will place the screws — which you’ll put where the D-Rings are placed on the back of the map. After you mark where they go, use the hardware provided to put the screws in the wall with a drill. Then hang the D-Rings on the screws. Ta-da!

Do you allow returns?

All of our maps leave our shop in mint condition. If your map was damaged during shipment, and you notify us within 30 days of delivery, you can return your purchase and be refunded in full. We can’t accept returns after 30 days, but please contact us with any specific questions you may have.
