Product Description:
Each handcrafted map is made from United States hardwoods, no plywood here. The wood “canvas” of the map is 5/8” thick. The backing is made from carbon steel — giving the map sturdiness while adding an industrial touch that is seen when looking at the map from the side. The maps are offered in a lighter beech wood (think camel leather), and in a darker finished alder wood.

36” x 28” x 1-3/8”
Wood Types:
BEECH: Beech wood (from midwest USA) with all natural, non-toxic polymerized linseed oil
BRIAR: Alder wood (from northwest USA) finished with a briarsmoke stain and clear coat
Product Care:
Due to the nature of hardwoods, they react to their surrounding environment. We recommend hanging your map away from heat sources or air vents. The less temperature fluctuation the better.
